Description
The easy fit fuel gauge kit requires no drilling of fuel tanks. The unique fuel gauge sender simply replaces your existing fuel tank cap, no cutting, no drilling needed, and of course it still has the important breather hole! The kit will fit Lambretta series one, two or three, as well as J range models. The gauge can either be powered by the included 9v battery, or if your scooters is 12v DC, it can be powered by that. Both leads are included so you can choose, we also have a choice of standard PP3 or a rechargeable PP3 for a small additional cost. The gauge can be easily mounted on the top horn casting bolt with the clip included, or you can fit into your leg shield tool box etc. The gauge is industry standard 52mm, should you want to mount it in a leg shield glove box or similar. Because of the many varied petrol tanks on the market, we have tried to measure almost all types. We have manufacturered several different heights of sender / cap units. WE ONLY SUPPLY THE 190MM VERSION, OTHERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR CAMBRIGE LAMBRETTA measure your tank by inserting a steel tape measure into the tank. Let the tape go right to the bottom making sure it is upright, and take the measurement from the top lip.
